Here's my first crocheted scarf. It's nice, don't you think? I'd actually planned on knitting it, seeing that my daughters and I had planned on being the knitting queens this summer...but I went back to what I know and love...easy crochet! Below I've pictured some funky, fun yarns I just purchased from Pluckyfluff Yarns. How could I resist them?? I've decided to spend the driving and down time of my vacation (leaving in less than a week..woohoo!) knitting and crocheting christmas scarves for my friends and loved ones. :) Can you imagine a scarf made from Spring Chicken? Those are the little fluffy easter chicks spun into the yarn. :) Last night was Nikki Blackwood's Art Garage Party...she holds it every other Tuesday night and it's way fun...just what I needed. The plan for last night was to make some of those cool cork stamps that I pictured a couple of days ago.
These are the stamps I made...they give a cool, primitive stamp...I like them! My goal is to have a printers tray full, just for fun, not that I'd even have to use them more than once...just enough to make them all inky! If you're reading this and wondering why I haven't emailed, my daughter has been hogging the computer and I've been totally swamped anyway. I'm sorry, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth and I'm not ignoring you....hang tight. oxox
