l hi all! It's almost midnight but wanted to send a quick note to show off my first pink peony blossom! We planted (hubby did) 6 different varieties right under my studio window. Something I wanted all along but it took a while to see it happen. :)
I'll have better photos of the others tomorrow, they were wanting to close up early evening, so I didn't have much success with the camera.
I'm posting THIS LINK of the updated garden photos. If you're interested, you can follow THIS LINK to see how it looked last year!
I'll finish with a yawn and with a picture of another dream of mine....my very own pink dogwood...yay!
Hello and happy belated mother's day for those of you who qualify :).
I'm sharing two photos taken of my furry babies, Lily is on our front porch between my beautiful Mother's Day topiaries (ignore the red wicker placemat, I threw it there while cleaning off the bistro table). They're lilac trees and so beautiful. You'll see some plants sitting inside the pots that haven't been planted, just sitting up there for safe keeping. I've decided on the double pale pink petunias that are in the farthest pot. I just need to track more down for the other one. I plan on planting something taller around the trunk of the topiaries, the pink petunias in the middle and some sweet overhanging flower around the rim of the pot. blah blah blah...I'm rambling. Katy took this sweet picture of Muffin (he's a boy, tho everyone outside the family says "she") standing next to his favorite bush...something about it excites him, it's not uncommon to find him completely head first in the middle of the bush with only a fluffy bottom and tail sticking out. wait, I think I have a photo of that....
Here's a little necklace I made using an antique, victorian era Y chain. I've created a pendant and added an aquamarine and pink jade gemstones to dangle from the bottom. It's actually on Ebay right now. :)
Life here has been full. Some good, some rocky...such is life. I believe the rocky paths make us all appreciate the smooth ones...kinda like walking barefoot on our gravely culdesac on a hot summer day...making the jump onto cool, soft grass...Aaahhhh!
My segments from That's Clever! are on today. It shows at 1pm on HGTV. I have about 40 minutes before I get to see it...no, they don't mail the artists advance copies....my mom is in North Carolina and called me at 10:30 with her review..."you were the best one!! You need to have your own show!" What would we do without our moms??
I've not answered any emails, so if you've emailed me and believe that I've just passed yours by, ignoring you, not caring...not so, I've been pulling myself out of a routine funk and tend to isolate myself, rarely communicating via the computer. I DO read everything and if you emailed me with a question regarding my rubber stamps, etc....please contact Leslie at Alpha Stamps as they will be selling my rubberstamps wholesale and retail.
