The afghan will be gorgeous when done. I love the Granny Square design - have done them in brites and black and in white and pastels. Thanks for the tip about the book. I am going to request it from the library - sounds like a good read.

Congrats on completing such a beautiful Granny Square afghan, Tracy! I love the black background ~ makes for great contrast. Also, I just requested the book you recommended from my library. Anyone into vintage stuff, addicted to estate sales, can hardly walk through her garage and house because of all her stuff sounds oh so close to home! The book sounds like a fun read!
