Artfest ~ Fiber Purse

I've finally finished my Artfest fiber purse.  I made it with primitive hook rug techniques using fabric pieces I cut/tore into strips.  It actually looks so much better than these photos!  It's embellished with beads, vintage millinery flowers, charms and my favorite, a vintage broach located on the front flap.  If you click on the two smaller photos, you'll get a larger view.  I'm mailing it in the morning to Teesha, the artist who is hosting the event I'll be teaching at in June.  I need to come up with a different clasp since the one on there now..(a lobster clasp), is a pain in the butt to open or close.
I need to come up with some small hooking project options for people taking my workshop.  Maybe a sun/eye glass case?...a funky pendant??...hmm... oxox

Okay so I am blaming my misspelling of NEEDLE on the fact that I was exhausted from New Year's eve! Honestly, I am not that dumb!

How about a kneedle case or a special pouch to hold a small journal? I can see a little journal with a pretty pen nestled inside. Also if it were a bit smaller, it could be an amulet bag for tucking things like seashells, feathers, etc. from your outings. OR you could tuck a series of artist inspiration cards in one, using it as a case. The cards could be used to inspire you to try different topics for a journal or different art techniques. Just a thought.
