heading home

hi there. I'm soon on my way back to Portland. my visit with Stacie has been heaven. I feel its been my favorite of all our visits together.

In honor of Self Portrait Tuesday, I'm posting a photo that Stacie took within minutes of my arrival.

I brought Scout a stuffed Lily and had it in my hand before I walked in the door.   As dog owners know, they are always the first to get to the door every time.

Scout was so happy with his new Lily. He carried it around and when we left later for dinner Scout rode along. Before leaving he ran and found Lily so he could take her. It just warmed my heart.

Stace looked wonderful, as always. She's the sweetest, cutest thing I've ever seen. I'll give more details when I get home. It's already eleven and I've got a 4 hour drive ahead of me.
