Sunday night...it's been a quiet weekend. Yesterday Tami came over while her husband and son had friends over to watch the football game. She worked on beads and I continued organizing my studio drawers. There are 48 drawers and most have been filled willy nilly with no rhyme nor reason (which basically sums up how my studio usually is) After opening each drawer 100 times to finally find what I'm looking for in drawer # 48, I finally made some fun tags for most of the drawers and have begun the task of putting the right things in the right drawers. When it got later and Tami's daughter went home (across the street)....we settled in and watched "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"....she'd never seen it before, I've seen it a zillion times and own it. It's the cutest movie! Today Katy and I met Tami at the Rings & Things bead show that was in my neighborhood. I was very good and put back more than half of what I'd picked to buy...here's what I ended up with.
From top to bottom there are...red square coral beads, beautiful blue onyx, two strands of foil lampwork heart beads (the photo does none of these justice!) and three wonderful strands of died coral...light pink, hot pink and orange. I can't wait to play with them.
I've been a hermit since Celine left. I'm actually a hermit more often than not lately. It's nice having a friend across the street because there's not a lot of a commitment when she wants to come over and I'm not up for it (or visa versa)....she can just walk across the street and she's home! I also bought Lynne Perrella's wonderful paper doll book today. I have it pictured along with a gorgeous collage that Celine gave me. I love it!
I've been busy making jewelry, charms, earrings, etc...and art to put up in my new Etsy shop. yay!
I hope you're well and making lots of artsy things! oxox
